Norms for Book Publication
Papers approved and presented at CIAP may be published in an E-Book, registered at the National Library (ISBN), following the guidelines presented below:
The author and co-author(s) of academic papers presented at this CIAP who are interested in publishing their work may do so. This book will be in e-book format and may also be published in print version. To accomplish this, they must submit the complete manuscript in book chapter format to the CIAP Scientific Committee, following the formatting guidelines below:
a) Title and subtitle, if any, in bold.
b) The title should not be written entirely in uppercase letters.
c) Author(s) name(s) on the fourth line below the title (or subtitle, if any).
d) Footnote on the first page, containing a brief curriculum of the author(s), including information such as their academic qualifications, graduating institution, and other relevant academic qualifications. The text should be a maximum of 5 lines.
e) The text should be in Times New Roman font, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing, and justified alignment.
f) Citations and references according to APA formatting guidelines.
g) Top and bottom margins with 2.5 cm and left and right margins with 3 cm.
h) Graphical elements in the body of the text according to APA formatting guidelines, respecting a maximum of 5, which may include tables, figures, charts, and graphs. Figures should have a minimum resolution of 144 dpi; they can be black and white or color.
i) Captions below the images in Times New Roman font size 10, single spacing, centered alignment, and no automatic text wrapping formatting. It should reference the source from which the image was extracted or indicate authorship if it’s original.

III. The complete and already revised manuscript must be sent, mandatory, in Word format (doc. or docx.). Encoded files or files in other formats will be excluded from the publication process.
IV. The Scientific Committee of CIAP will have autonomy in defining criteria and procedures for evaluating the texts to be published.
V. When submitting the complete manuscript, the author and co-author(s) must provide a Copyright Transfer Agreement stating that they expressly authorize the Scientific Committee of the International Congress on Psychological Assessment (CIAP) the right to publish their manuscript for scientific-academic and non-commercial purposes.
